Holding a fund raiser with wine is a great way to raise funds for your school.

With some sensational quality wines at great prices, Alias wines is proud to offer a fundraising proposal that:

Here’s how it works.

  1. In conjunction with your committee or a ‘dedicated band of volunteers’ we taste and select a wine list suitable for your school. (we can provide a ‘standard’ list if you prefer)
  2. We can hold a wine tasting evening to introduce the wines and the fundraising activity
  3. Order forms are distributed to parents for them to fill out and to pass on to their friends
  4. After a set time – (usually 10 days to 2 weeks) forms are collected by the school and passed back to ALIAS Wines
  5. We compile the orders and process all payments –
  6. Orders are delivered to the school (or other drop off point) for pick-up or distribution to the customers (wine can also be picked up directly from our retail outlet)
  7. A full breakdown of orders with amounts payed is compiled and provided to the school, along with a cheque for the fund.

    And that’s it!

We have great success with every fundraiser we have conducted and find ourselves repeating this process with the same school or club at regular intervals – it’s a common situation where members request “we are running low - when is the next wine drive on?”

So just to clarify some of the big questions:

Traditionally this type of activity would have involved buying wine in bulk and bottling yourself. With this system all the hard work is done for you - all you need to do is distribute the product sales lists and collect the order forms.

We are happy to discuss any concerns you may have or to arrange a program for your school or club.

Please note – bookings can fill up quickly over the peak times, and we usually have established bookings from previous customers, so please contact us as soon as possible to ensure we can meet your timetable.
